They are trained in various forms of dance, theater, and vocal training through Bedford Youth Performing Company and Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater. They also completed a dance minor at The University of Vermont (UVM) and performed in yearly performances and site specific work throughout their college career where they have gotten the opportunity to work with various choreographers from throughout the country. Er has participated in and had work shown in the American College Dance Festival Association conferences. Through the UVM dance program they also performed and participated in a dance exchange in China. Erica has performed with Bryce Dance Company, Spielpalast Cabaret, and Dream City Dance Company. Currently they are a part of "merde!" dance company as well as Paula Higga Dance & Ers. .

Er has a yoga teacher certification approved by Yoga Alliance. Er is also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and works as a therapist in South Burlington. They are passionate about using dance (especially improvisational dance) as a way of transformative social work. To Er this means using movement to help question, deconstruct, feel and make meaning of our experiences in life to help live better lives and be able to give back to our communities in meaningful ways. Er is especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ in this deconstructive dance style. To learn more about how Er works with this type of dance refer to the “About Deep Dance” tab . Er understands the unjust and unequal systemic impact this culture has on BIPOC, disabled, and LGBTQIA+ folks. Therefore, sliding scale will be offered for those who identify as such.
