Dance Deep & Deconstruct 

Dance has been the back bone of my life. It continues to be my greatest teacher and friend. I have been dancing and performing since the age of 3 and am trained in various forms of dance, theater, and vocal training. In addition, I also completed a dance minor at The University of Vermont (UVM) and performed in yearly performances and site specific work throughout my college career where I had the opportunity to work with various choreographers from throughout the country. I was honored to participate in and have work shown in the American College Dance Festival Association conferences. Since college, I have performed with Bryce Dance Company, Spielpalast Cabaret, and Dream City Dance Company. Currently I love spending time being a part of "merde!" dance company as well as Paula Higa Dance Company.

Outside of dance, I have a yoga teacher certification approved by Yoga Alliance. I also am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have been working as a therapist in South Burlington VT since 2017. My private practice, Finding Ways LLC, started in 2021. I am passionate about using dance (especially improvisational dance) as a way of transformative social work. To me this means using movement to help question, deconstruct, feel and make meaning of our experiences in life to help live better lives and be able to give back to our communities in meaningful ways. I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ in this deconstructive dance style. I understand the unjust and unequal systemic impact this culture has on BIPOC, disabled, and LGBTQIA+ folks. For group classes, and workshops sliding scale options will be offered for folks who identify as such. Individual coaching sessions are at a fixed rate to allow for those spots to be available at this time.
